Sinaboro Drumming League

Invitations to 7 to 77 years olds to Korean Traditional Performing Arts with Kwengari, Jango, Boog and Jing. The instruments represents the elements in nature such as lightening, rain, cloud and wind respectively. The traditional performance originated on the streets of villages in Korea where farming was prevalent. The band was an instrument to drumming up spirits and energize the farmers during longs days of farming. The band lead villagers for celebrations during harvest seasons, wedddings as well as sending off soldiers to wars. In the present days, the performance has found its place in Korean Performing arts called Samulnori.
